After searching desperately for the correction in Encyclopedia of Knitting, by Leslie Stansfield and Melody Griffiths, I finally found it and posted on my site: http://www.webigail.com

I was frustrated, because I had finally picked a pattern that I was ready to attempt, only to discover it was missing critical info. I had to work hard to get the correction, but it was worth it. I am now in the midst of my first lace, as well as first blanket project.
